Triumphant Perseus - replica of famous statue by Antonio Canova 

Triumphant Perseus is a marble sculpture by Antonio Canova created between 1797 and 1801. It measures 235cm in height and is exhibited in the Vatican Museums in Vatican City. The plaster of this work is preserved in the Canova Gipsoteca in Possagno

Canova represents him as the winner, after having mutilated the monstrous figure, in a proud pose. He is on tiptoe, wearing a helmet, holding the trophy by his hair in his left hand, displaying it proudly; in his right hand he holds the sickle, the weapon entrusted by Hermes.

Available with a black marble base, the figurine is 29 cm high and has a metal sword
