Franz Xaver Messerschmidt (1736-1783) was a German Austrian sculptor. 

He is best known for his "character heads", a series of 69 busts (of the 100 originally planned by the sculptor and of which just 49 have come down to us) representing 64 grimaces. 

Reproduction, in marble and resin powder, 15 cm high

Franz Messerschmidt: "Heads of Character" - The Constipated One - 15 cm (5,91") 

Franz Xaver Messerschmidt (1736-1783) was a German Austrian sculptor. 

He is best known for his "character heads", a series of 69 busts (of the 100 originally planned by the sculptor and of which just 49 have come down to us) representing 64 grimaces. 

Reproduction, in marble and resin powder, 15 cm high
