The Boxer at Rest or the Terme Boxer or the Boxer of the Quirinal - 8.6" (22 cm) aged bronze

The Boxer at Rest, also known as the Terme Boxer or Boxer of the Quirinal: aged bronze color 

The so-called Pugile delle terme or Pugile del Quirinale is a splendid Greek original discovered in Rome, on the slopes of the Quirinale, during the excavations of 1885. It probably came from the Baths of Constantine and this explains both the names by which it is still known today. . Recent studies have brought the work back into the context of late Hellenism (in particular to the 1st century BC), but the author is still unknown.  

This beautiful reproduction has been admirably made by local artisans with the use of composite marble and rests on a Carrara marble base.

- 22 cm: dimensions of the base are 3.3 x 5.7 x 0.8 in. (8.5x14.5x2h cm); the statue is 8.66 in. (22 cm) high and the whole sculpture weighs about 3.74 lb (1.7 kg.)
